Why logic puzzles are worth your time
A logic puzzle is one of the few things you can do in ten minutes that leaves you sharper than when you started. There is no luck in it, nothing to buy and nothing to grind — a sudoku either yields to clear thinking or it does not.
- It is a complete task. Most of what fills a day never really finishes. A grid does, and it finishes today.
- The difficulty is honest. You cannot pay to skip it and you cannot be unlucky. Every board here has exactly one solution and can be reached by logic alone.
- It scales with you. The same nine-by-nine grid entertains someone on their first puzzle and someone chasing a personal best under three minutes.
- It fits into gaps. A coffee break, a train, a waiting room. Nothing installs, nothing signs you up, and an unfinished board waits for you.
What makes a leaderboard actually mean something
Every sudoku site has a timer. Almost none of them have a ranking worth reading, and the reason is simple: random boards are not comparable. Two puzzles both labelled "hard" can differ in real difficulty by several hundred percent, so a leaderboard built on random grids ranks luck, not skill.
That is the one problem this site is built to solve. One puzzle per day, identical for everyone on the planet. Same grid, same clues, same starting point — so a time actually says something. Around it comes the part people care about more than the raw number:
- your percentile — "faster than 87 % of players today", not just a stopwatch reading,
- the distribution curve, with your own time marked on it,
- a country ranking, because comparing yourself with your own country hits differently than comparing yourself with the world,
- five time windows — day, week, month, year and all-time — so a new player always has a board that is still winnable.

No accounts, no cookie wall, no nonsense
You do not need an email address to solve a puzzle, so we do not ask for one. There is no sign-up, no password and no tracking across other sites. Your times and personal records live in your own browser, and when the leaderboard arrives you will be able to enter a nickname and a country — nothing more.
